Fast DDR2 533Mhz Memory - the main storing area for
processing data is the memory. The speed of the memory directly
affects the speed of calculations. This system uses the latest DDR2
RAM. You should also consider the number of slots and upgradeability
where Some systems limit you. This systems has a total of four
slots. You can also upgrade your memory to at a total of 2Gb giving
you plenty of flexibility and room for upgradeability.
PCI Express x16 Graphics Interface - Delivers greater
than 3.5 times the bandwidth over the traditional AGP 8X interface
and supports the latest high-performance graphics cards.
Via Chome 9 Graphics Engine - The standard for today’s
PCs enables stunning and complex effects for cinematic realism. Via
Chrome 9 offers best in class for performance and value.
Optical Device - You have a choice of a CD Writer, DVD
Rom, or a DVD Writer. A CD Writer will read and write to CD Discs,
while a DVD Rom will only read DVD and CDs. A DVD Writer will do
read and write to CDs and DVDs. You also have options to have a
secondary optical device which can be useful for tasks such as
allowing you to copy directly from one disc to another saving time.
(Don't forget to choose the appropriate colour to match your case)
Hard Drive - This is where all your information is
stored. Generally the larger the size means the more you can store.
The hard drives offered in this system spin at the faster speed of
7,200rpm which makes them faster. This system is also capable of
having any combination of up to Four hard drives or optical drives.
Thus again giving you flexibility and upgradeability.
Floppy Drive - Since most the cases we offer have two
3.5" bays, One used by the floppy drive, the second slot can be used
for the 33-in-1 Flash card Reader. Most mobile phones, Digital
camera's and Camcorders will use some type of flash memory (which
are a portable device a bit like a SIM card in a mobile phone). The
card reader option will allow you to read and write to the majority
of the flash cards currently available.
5.1 Channel Audio - with the transformation of the PC
into an all-singing, all-dancing multimedia centre, sound has become
an important element. This system has a 5.1 audio processor
delivering a multi-channel 3D experience. Therefore you are able to
use any speakers up to a 5.1 combination.
Stereo Speakers - Comprising of two compact speakers for
the perfect blend of price and performance. Or why not upgrade to
spread a 5.1 speaker system for a combination of perfect sound for a
breathtaking home theatre experience in games and movies.
4 USB 2.0 ports - USB 2.0 is the latest connectivity
standard for next generation components and peripherals. Backwards
compatible with current USB 1.1 peripherals, USB 2.0 delivers
transfer speeds up to 40 times faster at 480Mb/s, for easy
connectivity and ultra-fast data transfers. USB ports are used for
Printers, scanner, Camera's etc etc.
Choice of Cases and colours - the most obvious aspect of
a computer is the bit visible the most - the case. So this is more
down to to individual taste. However ,as computers are getting
faster and faster, the build up of heat is also increasing. Each
Case we offer has room for upgradeability and plenty of airflow,
which we feel is an important issue when choosing a system. Most of
the cases also have slots for extra cooling fans for more demanding
systems or environments. (Please note : if changing a case please
also select the appropriate colour floppy drive and/or optical
device)
RJ45 Network Connection - As standard the system comes
with a 100Mb per second Network Card. Networking allows you to
easily share printers, internet connections and data. You can also
upgrade to the faster Gigabit Lan, which is 10 times faster. Or for
total convenience you join the world of Wi-Fi by adding a wireless
network card. So have the benefits of networking without the need of
cabling!!!
Expansion Slots - PCI slots are a must for expansion
cards as you don't what your needs in a system will demand in the
future. This system has a total of three slots which gives you the
peace of mind that your system can always grow with your needs.
Fax Modem Card - which allows allows you to connect to
the internet or send and receive faxes. If u have or are planning to
have a broadband connection which allows you to use the internet up
to 40x faster then we would recommend the ADSL modem option. This
will provide the speed and appropriate connection to the broadband
connection.
TV Card - Watch what you want when you want. As well as
Analogue options you can go for Digital Terrestrial TV options
giving over 30 Free TV Channels. Dual Tuner Cards will allow you to
simultaneous Watch and Record TV.
Custom and Modding - Hiding your system in a cabinet is a
thing of the past. Why not choose system lights, coloured cables or
screws to make your system stand out ? We also believe Cooling and
Noise Levels is an important aspect of your system. You can
therefore add fan controllers that will monitor different area's of
your system temperature. Reporting any heating issues. Some can also
control the speed of your cooling devices. Thus optimising the noise
and cooling performance of your system automatically. FInally you
can even add Noise reduction kits to reduce the noise levels !!!
